Blessing Box Ministry

Picture
St. Mary’s Episcopal Church is honored to partner with all of the other Hampton Bays churches, several of our civic organizations, and individuals throughout the community in this exciting and valuable ministry.

Blessing Boxes are filled with food and drink for any in need to pick up at their convenience and this ministry is designed to supplement the larger food pantry located at St. Rosalie's Roman Catholic Church.

Blessing Boxes are located at the public library, and just off Montauk Highway, in the pocket park near the path leading to Squiretown Road Park.

Below is a list of non-perishable foods we stock in these boxes:

Canned items: Fruit, vegetables, soup, tuna, chicken, salmon, beans, pork & beans, tomato sauce, ravioli, chili, spaghetti - O’s, spam, vienna sausage, stew.

Plastic jars/bottles: Peanut butter, jelly, applesauce, juice, baby food.

Boxed items: Whole milk, rice & beans, ramen noodles, spaghetti, macaroni & cheese, oatmeal, cereal, pasta sides, crackers, granola bars, nutritional drinks, juice, small water bottles, beef jerky, baby cereal.

We stock pet food too!

You may place your donations in the bin by the Parish Hall entrance off the parking lot on the north side of the church after office hours or on the weekend or in the box in the rear of the church on Sundays.
